Hi there, thanks for dialling in to the Insecure Line. My name is Samir and it's been over a decade since I spun up my first Bracktrack VM (IYKYK) and ultimately started working as a cyber security professional. If you're wondering what a cyber security professional is, welcome to the club. These titles are purely made up. But to put it simply, these days I provide advisory for business to help them build effective cyber strategies, but previously I showed companies how easy it was to break into their networks.

Anyway, enough about me, what's this newsletter about? This is a blog / newsletter where I basically express ideas and opinions on cyber security, privacy, surveillance, and digital espionage topics. Think of it as some cyber guy's hot take on different cyber topics. With that said, just like almost everything you read online, it will be opinionated, biased, and possibly inaccurate.
